Our New Church is In the Horizon

It’s finally here!  After 10 years of Planning and Plotting and Projecting

and Preparing, we’re ready to PRESENT!

Many things have finally begun to come together over the last few weeks, admittedly, things that should have been in place for some time, and we thank you for your patience.  We now have a full architectural plan in place, and we have our beautiful, priceless furnishings and magnificent stained glass windows.  The next step is to fund the project and we have a number of great ideas developed by our Fund Raising Team to help us secure external funding to supplement what each of our parishioners will commit to through weekly sacrifice. We think you will be pleased with the new ideas and our plans to make this decade of vision become a reality.

Now that we have the full concept in place, along with the price tag, we need your input and to get you involved!

We have a number of fund raising projects underway and we need your participation in many ways.  Some of the areas in which we need participation from the entire parish family are:

  •   Pledge drive team to seek financial participation from all families for the next 3 years

  •   Administrative/Clerical/Organizational assistance to all committees and team leaders

  •   Committee chairs to head up specialized external fund raising projects as they develop (i.e., $10,000 cash raffle this fall, car raffle in the spring, concert next Summer, etc.)

  •   In-kind legal and accounting services to assist with licensing, permitting, etc.

  •   Team leaders to work exclusively with KidzKount, our capital campaign for the youth

  •   Community partnerships liaison to establish and maintain external relationships

  •   Marketing and advertising to promote special events and projects throughout community

  •   Volunteerism after each weekend Mass to promote projects, enlist other volunteers, etc.

  •   Any other ideas or forms of participation you can think of!

  •   More than anything, we need constant prayer to make this ten-year vision become a reality.  Prayer warriors have proven very effective throughout history.

If our Lord wants this new church to become a reality, it will happen, but we need you to help.  Please get in touch and offer your time, talent and treasure to Continuing the Legacy of YOUR Faith.  No matter your age, social status, physical limitation or relationship with God, you can be a part of this effort, creating a magnificent place of worship for future generations.

This is not a building, it is our church.  It is our legacy.
